In one sibship, two brothers had membrano-proliferative glomerulonephritis type I. The former died 3 years after the onset of the glomerulonephritis and the latter is still alive. The familial nature of the disease is an argument to strengthen the concept that genetic factors are involved in its origin.
在一个家族中，两兄弟患有I型膜增生性肾小球肾炎。前者在肾小球肾炎发病3年后死亡，后者仍然健在。该疾病的家族性特征支持了遗传因素参与其发病的观点。
