[Immunofluorescence diagnosis of viral infections].

The paper concerns the immunofluorescence methods, which are useful for diagnostic procedures related with viral infections, especially of genital and respiratory tracts. The principle and technical aspects of preparing, staining and microscopic examination are described. Technical problems, disorders and interpretation of results, as well possible additional control tests are analysed. The article is addressed mainly to medical units which should be interested in rapid immunofluorescence diagnostic procedures.
