To study protective effect and pathogenesis of complex salvia miltiorrhiza (DanShen) on acute mercury poisoning in rabbits.
Models of acute mercury poisoning was made in rabbits. The effect of complex salvia miltiorrhiza on blood urea nitrogen (BUN), copper-protein (CP), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), acid phosphatase (ACP) and the malondialdehyde (MDA) in plasma, superoxide dismutase (SOD) in erythrocyte and MDA, SOD in tissues homogenate were observed.
The administration of complex salvia miltiorrhiza after mercury injection 0.5 h and 9.5 h, decreased BUN, CP, MDA, LDH and ACP, and prevented the reduction of SOD. Compared with mercury poisoning group, the difference was statistical significant (P < 0.05, P < 0.01).
It is suggested that acute mercury poisoning may result in renal damage but also multiple organ tissues, and complex salvia miltiorrhiza possesses protective effect, through stabilized membranes.
研究复方丹参对家兔急性汞中毒的保护作用及发病机制。
制备家兔急性汞中毒模型。观察复方丹参对血浆中尿素氮(BUN)、铜蓝蛋白(CP)、乳酸脱氢酶(LDH)、酸性磷酸酶(ACP)及丙二醛(MDA),红细胞中超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)以及组织匀浆中MDA、SOD的影响。
汞注射后0.5小时和9.5小时给予复方丹参,可降低BUN、CP、MDA、LDH和ACP,并防止SOD降低。与汞中毒组相比,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05,P<0.01)。
提示急性汞中毒可能导致肾脏损害,也可累及多器官组织,复方丹参具有保护作用,其机制可能与稳定细胞膜有关。
