[Development of the ossification centres of the skeleton of the hand in patients with idiopathic scoliosis (author's transl)].

In 84 patients with idiopathic scoliosis, the skeletal age was estimated by the method of Greulich and Pyle. The average values were within the normal distribution curve. According to Prader, the normal values for skeletal age lie within + or -20% of the chronological age. Using his criteria, all our values are within the normal range.
