Abstract
Several derivatives of two mesoionic xanthine analogs, mesoionic thiazolo[3,2-alpha]pyrimidine-5,7-diones and mesoionic 1,3,4-thiadiazolo[3,2-alpha]pyrimidine-5,7-diones, were synthesized and evaluated as inhibitors of cyclic AMP phosphodiesterase. A significant number of these compounds demonstrated theophylline-like activity.

合成了两种中氮茚黄嘌呤类似物——中氮茚噻唑并[3,2-α]嘧啶-5,7-二酮和中氮茚1,3,4-噻二唑并[3,2-α]嘧啶-5,7-二酮的几种衍生物，并将其作为环磷酸腺苷磷酸二酯酶的抑制剂进行了评估。这些化合物中有相当一部分表现出类似茶碱的活性。
