A causal analysis of neonatal mortality has been done in the Uzbek SSR in terms of the socioeconomic life, sociohygienic culture, state of the biosphere, demographic characteristics, and medical care of the population. A complex scientific-practical programme of improvement of mother and child care, that has been introduced in the republic, allowed for stabilization of maternal mortality rates, reduction in preterm births, and for the general decrease in neonatal mortality rates.
在乌兹别克苏维埃社会主义共和国，已从社会经济生活、社会卫生文化、生物圈状况、人口统计学特征以及民众医疗保健等方面对新生儿死亡率进行了因果分析。共和国实施的一项改善母婴护理的综合科学实践计划，使得孕产妇死亡率趋于稳定，早产率降低，新生儿死亡率总体下降。
