The system of organizational activities undertaken during 1970-1985 to optimize the antituberculosis efforts in the Republic made it possible to achieve significant positive results. Over the above period of time the antituberculosis service was reorganized in addition to the improved material basis of the tuberculosis control institutions. The treatment efficacy has thus increased as a result of higher rates of cavity closure (from 55.6 to 85.1%) and smear-negative cases (from 75.2 to 90.2%), and transfer to group III of the dispensary registration (from 15.7 to 41.4%). Tuberculosis morbidity, susceptibility and mortality decreased for 45.2, 53.7 and 59.2 per cent, respectively.
1970年至1985年期间开展的旨在优化该共和国抗结核工作的组织活动体系，使得取得显著的积极成果成为可能。在上述时间段内，除了改善结核病防治机构的物质基础外，抗结核服务也进行了重组。由于空洞闭合率（从55.6%提高到85.1%）和涂片阴性病例率（从75.2%提高到90.2%）的提高，以及转至三级门诊登记的比例（从15.7%提高到41.4%），治疗效果因此得到提高。结核病发病率、易感性和死亡率分别下降了45.2%、53.7%和59.2%。
