[The rate of acquisition and the extinction of an active avoidance conditioned reaction in rats with differing levels of alcohol motivation].

Rats with the expressed alcoholic motivation acquire faster conditioned reaction of the avoidance of electrocutaneous stimulation in T-maze and possess lower threshold of electro-painful sensitivity as compared with the animals with initially low level of alcoholic motivation. It is suggested that rats with initially high tolerance to ethanol are able to adapt more rapidly to changes in environment.
