In the title compound, Cd(NCS)(2)(C(11)H(17)N(3)), the Cd(II) atom is octa-hedrally coordinated by the N,N',N''-tridentate Schiff base ligand and one terminal thio-cyanate N atom. Two trans-N:S-bridging thio-cyanates complete the N(5)S donor set around the Cd atom. In the crystal, adjacent Cd(II) ions are linked by the thio-cyanate N:S-bridges into polymeric chains along the c axis.
在标题化合物[Cd(NCS)₂(C₁₁H₁₇N₃)]ₙ中，Cd(II)原子由N,N',N''-三齿席夫碱配体和一个末端硫氰酸根N原子八面体配位。两个反式-N:S桥连的硫氰酸根完成了围绕Cd原子的N(5)S供体集合。在晶体中，相邻的Cd(II)离子通过硫氰酸根N:S桥沿c轴连接成聚合物链。
