Abstract

The significant alterations in arachidonic acid metabolism of polymorphonuclear (PMN) leukocytes in 8 patients with cerebral thrombosis. The production of TXB2, LTB4 and 20-OH-LTB4 was significantly enhanced, whereas the PGE2 value also had an increasing tendency. It was suggested that the alterations of arachidonic acid metabolism of PMN leukocytes might augment the process of thrombosis and bring on more brain ischemia.

摘要

8例脑血栓患者多形核(PMN)白细胞花生四烯酸代谢的显著变化。血栓素B2(TXB2)、白三烯B4(LTB4)和20-羟基白三烯B4(20-OH-LTB4)的生成显著增强,而前列腺素E2(PGE2)值也有升高趋势。提示PMN白细胞花生四烯酸代谢的改变可能会加剧血栓形成过程并导致更多脑缺血。
