To ensure comprehensive health care delivery to individuals in their childbearing years, nurses must consider the impact of workplace hazards on human reproduction. A number of variables, including the changing role of women in society, economic issues, and unexplained adverse reproductive outcomes are indications for routine assessment of reproductive health hazards in the workplace.
