Abstract

The reaction of 2-methyl-8-hy-droxy-quinoline and zinc chloride in acetonitrile affords the title solvated salt, (C(10)H(10)NO)[Zn(C(10)H(8)NO)Cl(2)]·2CH(3)CN, in which the Zn(II) atom is coordinated by an- N,O-chelating 2-methyl-quinolin-8-olate ligand and two chloride ligands in a distorted tetra-hedral geometry. The cation is linked to the heterocyclic anion by an O-H⋯O hydrogen bond and the quinolinium H atom forms a inter-molecular N-H⋯N hydrogen bond with one of the acetonitrile solvent mol-ecules.

2-甲基-8-羟基喹啉与氯化锌在乙腈中的反应得到标题溶剂化盐,(C₁₀H₁₀NO)[Zn(C₁₀H₈NO)Cl₂]·2CH₃CN,其中Zn(II)原子由一个N,O-螯合的2-甲基喹啉-8-醇盐配体和两个氯配体以扭曲的四面体几何构型配位。阳离子通过O-H⋯O氢键与杂环阴离子相连,喹啉鎓H原子与其中一个乙腈溶剂分子形成分子间N-H⋯N氢键。
