Abstract
Some hospital administrators have turned to employee opinion surveys for guidance on employee relations. That's because there is an emerging consensus that employee opinion surveys can help hospitals stay competitive. Yet up to now, the hospital field's record for making use of such surveys is poor, say organizational development specialists.
