Abstract

The Ontario Farm Safety Association, established in 1973 under the Workers' Compensation Act, provides safety education services to the agricultural community to reduce injuries and fatalities. With a staff of 14, various programs are administered including health and safety seminars, inspections, technical consulting, specialized agricultural safety publications and audio-visual materials, statistical gathering and analysis, as well as elementary school programs.
