Caffeine is a widely used substance with effects on several systems, presenting characteristic of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic which cause interactions with several drugs. This study's objective is to review the effects caused by caffeine.
This review assesses the caffeine pharmacology, its action mechanisms, indications, contraindications, doses, interactions and adverse effects.
There are insufficient double-blind randomized controlled studies that assess the analgesic effect of caffeine on several painful syndromes. Patients presenting chronic pain need caution when it comes to tolerance development, abstinence and drug interaction from chronic caffeine use.
咖啡因是一种广泛使用的物质,对多个系统有影响,具有药代动力学和药效学特征,会与多种药物发生相互作用。本研究的目的是综述咖啡因所产生的影响。
本综述评估了咖啡因的药理学、作用机制、适应证、禁忌证、剂量、相互作用及不良反应。
评估咖啡因对多种疼痛综合征镇痛作用的双盲随机对照研究不足。患有慢性疼痛的患者在耐受性发展、戒断以及长期使用咖啡因导致的药物相互作用方面需谨慎。
