Abstract
The Advocate General of the European Court of Justice's opinion on the patentability of embryo pluripotent stem cells according to the 98/44/CE Directive (Art. 6.2.c) is analyzed. Scientific, ethical and legal considerations on human embryos and stem cells are included.
