The gastric polyps are rare as compared to the colonic polyps. Multiple gastric polyps are seen in association with other polyposis syndromes like juvenile polyposis, Gardner's syndrome, the Peutz-Jeghers syndrome and the Cronkhite-Canada syndrome. Diffuse gastric polyposis is a rare entity and only few cases have been reported. The mode of treatment is surgery, either total or near total gastrectomy and a careful followup of the patient is needed due to the risk of colorectal malignancy.
与结肠息肉相比，胃息肉较为罕见。多发性胃息肉可见于其他息肉病综合征，如幼年性息肉病、加德纳综合征、佩-吉综合征和克-卡综合征。弥漫性胃息肉病是一种罕见的病症，仅有少数病例报道。治疗方式为手术，即全胃或近全胃切除术，由于存在结直肠癌的风险，需要对患者进行仔细随访。
