Abstract
A study of the nucleophilic addition of amines to 2,3-pyridyne has been carried out. 2-Aminopyridines have been generated exclusively. A series of benzonaphthyridinones have been synthesized by reacting 2,3-pyridyne and -aminobenzoates.
