CASE REPORT
A newborn male with right proptosis secondary to a retroocular mass. Ophthalmological examination also showed corneal ulcer and perforation, iris hernia, total ophthalmoplegia, chemosis and eyelid retraction. The histopathology diagnosis was mature teratoma.
DISCUSSION
Teratomas are tumors composed of a mixture of mature tissues consisting of 3 germ layers. Congenital teratomas of the orbit are very rare and should be included as a possibility in cases with a primary tumor in the orbit.

一名患有眼球后肿物继发右眼球突出的男婴。眼科检查还显示角膜溃疡及穿孔、虹膜疝、完全性眼肌麻痹、球结膜水肿和眼睑退缩。组织病理学诊断为成熟畸胎瘤。
讨论
畸胎瘤是由包含三个胚层的成熟组织混合构成的肿瘤。眼眶先天性畸胎瘤非常罕见，眼眶原发性肿瘤病例应将其列为一种可能情况。
