Abstract

George Tidmarsh, new Senior Editor on (DMM), is a physician with an academic science and medicine background and over two decades of industry experience at the cutting edge of biotechnology and drug development. Currently CEO of La Jolla Pharmaceutical Company Inc. as well as Consulting Associate Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine, he provides an insight into the value of industry as a conduit between academic research and patient benefit.
