Abstract

OBJECTIVE

To report a case of arteriovenous fistula (AVF) following bone marrow aspiration and trephine biopsy.

CLINICAL PRESENTATION AND INTERVENTION

A 76-year-old man was diagnosed with acute myeloblastic leukemia. Pain and hematoma were detected in his left leg and hip 4 days after bone marrow aspiration and trephine biopsy. A pelvic arteriography was performed, and a diagnosis of AVF was made.

CONCLUSION

This case shows that clinicians should be aware of AVF, especially in cases with refractory bleeding after bone marrow aspiration and trephine biopsy despite normal blood coagulation parameters.

目的

报告1例骨髓穿刺和环钻活检后发生动静脉瘘（AVF）的病例。

临床表现与干预措施

一名76岁男性被诊断为急性髓细胞白血病。在骨髓穿刺和环钻活检4天后，其左腿和髋部出现疼痛和血肿。进行了盆腔动脉造影，并诊断为动静脉瘘。

结论

该病例表明，临床医生应警惕动静脉瘘，尤其是在骨髓穿刺和环钻活检后尽管凝血参数正常但仍有难治性出血的病例中。
