OBJECTIVE
To examine the relationship between psychological well-being and social solidarity of apartment residents in Shahrekord, Iran.
METHODS
A sample of 200 apartment dwellers was selected randomly. Fessler Social Solidarity Inventory and General Health Questionnaire were used to gather data.
RESULTS
Using partial correlation test and having controlled the effect of age, sex and education, we found significant relationship between mental health and social solidarity (r = 0.47; p= 0.023). After controlling education and marital status, it was also revealed that women were in a better solidarity situation compared to men (p< 0.05).
CONCLUSION
There is a relation between the mental health and social solidarity of apartment residents in Sharekord. Good mental health accompanied with better social solidarity.
目的
研究伊朗设拉子市公寓居民心理健康与社会团结之间的关系。
方法
随机选取200名公寓居民作为样本。使用费斯勒社会团结量表和一般健康问卷收集数据。
结果
通过偏相关检验并控制年龄、性别和教育程度的影响后，我们发现心理健康与社会团结之间存在显著关系（r = 0.47；p = 0.023）。在控制教育程度和婚姻状况后，还发现女性的社会团结状况优于男性（p < 0.05）。
结论
设拉子市公寓居民的心理健康与社会团结之间存在关联。良好的心理健康伴随着更好的社会团结。
