Abstract

Monoclonal antibodies to 0-group 2 (MAB 02) were used to compare the cell surface determinants of 0-groups 1 and 2, and In the homologous system a significant reactivity was found, while MAB 02 clones showed a very low-graded cross-reactivity to 01 and The importance of these aspects in the selection of adequate vaccine strains is discussed, with an emphasis on the improvement of vibriosis vaccines.
