Thirty-five cases of advanced gastrointestinal malignancies were treated with the Nd-YAG laser for palliation of symptoms. Of the 35, 34 experienced good relief of their symptom. There were no major complications and minor complications occurred in four. The Nd-YAG laser was an efficacious means of providing symptomatic relief for such patients.
35例晚期胃肠道恶性肿瘤患者接受了Nd-YAG激光治疗以缓解症状。35例患者中，34例症状得到明显缓解。未发生严重并发症，4例出现轻微并发症。Nd-YAG激光是为这类患者缓解症状的有效手段。
