OBJECTIVE
Combined anatomic and functional imaging with (18)F-FDG PET/CT is slowly gaining foothold in the management of various infective pathologic abnormalities. However, limited literature is available regarding the role of FDG PET/CT in patients with fungal infections.
CONCLUSION
Here, we briefly review the available literature and highlight the potential role that FDG PET/CT can play in the diagnosis and management of fungal infections.
