Abstract

A high-pressure liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method was developed for the assay of tegafur in small plasma samples of each mice using chlorouracil as the internal standard and reversed phase microparticle column. This method without any special separation and purification techniques is micro scale and simpler, more rapid and precise for the determination of tegafur in plasma of small animal than that desirable.
