Abstract
We report on a female patient with a severe allergic contact dermatitis of the lower legs due to Varicosan, a special bandage material for varicosis. We found a sensitization against methyl- and propylesters of parahydroxybenzoic acid. This preservatives could be identified in Varicosan bandages.
