The distribution of haemoglobin genotype in 200 patients with primary liver cell carcinoma (PLCC) did not show any statistical difference from those of 200 age and sex-matched controls. It is therefore concluded that haemoglobin genotype is unlikely to play a significant role in the development of PLCC in Africans.
200例原发性肝细胞癌（PLCC）患者的血红蛋白基因型分布与200例年龄和性别匹配的对照者相比，未显示出任何统计学差异。因此得出结论，在非洲人中，血红蛋白基因型不太可能在原发性肝细胞癌的发生中起重要作用。
