Abstract

Reactivating the telomerase gene through gene therapy after acute myocardial infarction (AMI) has been recently reported to improve survival in mice. Given that regular physical exercise also activates this gene, therapeutic and lifestyle interventions targeting telomerase need to be explored as possible additions to the current armamentarium for myocardial regeneration.

最近有研究报道,通过基因治疗在急性心肌梗死(AMI)后激活端粒酶基因可以提高小鼠的存活率。鉴于有规律的体育锻炼也能激活该基因,因此需要探索针对端粒酶的治疗和生活方式干预措施,作为心肌再生现有手段的补充。
