Abstract
Nine cases of the aortitis syndrome associated with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) have been reported. We describe a 10th case of this unusual association. Our patient was the oldest of any reported and the only one in whom SLE developed before the onset of the aortitis syndrome.
