[The effect of parenteral gold preparations on heart function in rheumatoid arthritis patients (based on echocardiographic data)].

A total of 30 patients were treated by chrisanolum and myocrisin. The course of treatment lasted more than 2 years. The authors observed clear positive effect of parenteral preparations of gold on the contractile and pumping function of the heart in RA patients; clinical and laboratory manifestations of the disease were decreased.
