A report of a case of bilateral spontaneous and simultaneous quadriceps tendon ruptures and a review of the world literature is given. Chronic renal failure and its sequelae, hemodialysis and particularly hyperparathyroidism are associated with all such patients under the age of 50. Diagnosis should be made early since primary suture of the tendons is the treatment of choice.
本文报告一例双侧自发性同时性股四头肌肌腱断裂病例，并对世界文献进行综述。慢性肾衰竭及其后遗症、血液透析尤其是甲状旁腺功能亢进与所有50岁以下的此类患者相关。由于肌腱一期缝合是首选治疗方法，故应尽早做出诊断。
