Abstract

An innovative nurse-led hospice has opened in an acute hospital in Lincolnshire. Staffed by the hospital's nurses, and supported by community palliative care specialists and GPs, the hospice is a model of integrated care. Patients benefit from the hospice ethos and easy access to the hospital.
