Drug treatment of hypertension.

Hypertension continues to be a major public health issue, affecting some 10 to 15 per cent of the adult community. The author offers a practical approach to the management of mild hypertension, emphasising the importance of accurate diagnosis, and an adequate trial of non pharmacological measures.
