[Experience using nootropil in patients with chronic ischemic heart disease].

Course nootropil treatment was conducted in 34 IHD patients with neurotic and neurotic-like diseases. Dynamic changes in the psychic state were assessed by the clinical scale and the MMPI psychological test. Significant improvement or normalization of the psychic state was achieved in 58.8 per cent of the patients treated with nootropil. The best results were obtained in the treatment of asthenic states. Administration of nootropil had no influence on the incidence of angina pectoris attacks and produced no side effects.
