Radiogenic and non-radiogenic osteosarcomas are rather frequent in retinoblastoma patients and probably also in retinoblastoma families. Besides the pathologic gene for retinoblastoma, there must be a predisposition to develop osteogenic sarcomas, which is probably genetic.
放射性和非放射性骨肉瘤在视网膜母细胞瘤患者中相当常见，在视网膜母细胞瘤家族中可能也很常见。除了视网膜母细胞瘤的致病基因外，必然还存在发生骨肉瘤的易感性，这可能是遗传性的。
