[Characteristics of the formation of a free-amino acid brain pool in rats differing in their ethanol consumption].

The concentrations of free amino acids were studied in the right and left hemispheres, cerebellum and brain stem of AA and ANA strain rats differing in their voluntary consumption of ethanol solutions. Animals of both the strains were shown to be differentiated by distribution, functional utilization and metabolism of some amino acids in the right and left hemispheres, cerebellum and brain stem.
