The incidence of multiple pregnancy has increased in the last years. These pregnancies are associated with more obstetric complications regarding single pregnancies, one of the most important is prematurity. In extremely rare cases premature delivery of one fetus may occur, being retained in the uterine cavity the second fetus until birth later, producing the so-called delayed delivery of twins.
We report the case of a double twin pregnancy with delayed delivery of the second fetus after birth of the first one within 22.6 weeks of gestation and the second one birth at at 24 weeks of gestation, eight days later after the first one. A review of cases published in the literature is performed and the obstetric management of delayed delivery discussed.
近年来，多胎妊娠的发生率有所上升。这些妊娠与单胎妊娠相比，会出现更多的产科并发症，其中最重要的之一是早产。在极少数情况下，可能会出现一个胎儿早产，而第二个胎儿留在子宫腔内直至晚些时候出生，即所谓的双胎延迟分娩。
我们报告一例双胎妊娠病例，在妊娠22.6周时第一个胎儿出生，第二个胎儿延迟至8天后的妊娠24周出生。本文对文献中已发表的病例进行了回顾，并讨论了双胎延迟分娩的产科处理。
