This is an impressive book that implores us to work closely with people who experience dementia. The 'perspectives' alluded to in the title are not necessarily the views of the person with dementia but how to discover them. This is a book that takes us through the complex research methods which might be appropriate to ascertain the real opinion of people who have developed dementia. There are two short and powerful chapters written by individuals who have dementia where they put the case for inclusion in research and not to underestimate its positive effects.
