[Laser conization in the treatment of early forms of cervical cancer].

High laser excision has been used as an organ-sparing method for early cervical cancer in 30 patients, admitted to the P. A. Herzen Gynecological Clinic. Mean age of the patients was 35.7 +/- 1.5 years. The stage of the disease corresponded to intraepithelial cancer in 15 patients, and to micro-invasive cancer in another 15. The patients were followed-up for 6 months to 2 years, there were no relapses or menstrual disorders. Complications included early postoperative bleedings in 4 patients (the operation was performed in the premenstrual days).
