We have reported an unusual case of an aortoesophageal fistula between the midthoracic esophagus and the residual wall of an aneurysm of the descending thoracic aorta two weeks after graft replacement of the descending thoracic aorta. A CT scan of the chest after ingestion of water-soluble contrast material documented the fistula.
