People at risk for vaccine preventable diseases are generally under-immunized. Primary care physicians too often miss opportunities to provide indicated immunizations to their patients. This paper reviews the indications and certain aspects of adult immunizations for influenza, pneumococcus, hepatitis B, tetanus/diphtheria, measles and rubella.
