The paper summarizes the experience with application of chromothyrolymphography in 197 patients with thyroid cancer. The rationale for indirect chromothyrolymphography, technique and procedures for evaluating results are discussed with respect to determining the extent of organ-saving surgery on the thyroid and regional lymphatics for well-differentiated cancer. The procedure is not sophisticated and involves low incidence of specific complications and relapse.
