Abstract

INTRODUCTION

commonly affects lungs and central nervous system that to in immunocompromised individual. Bony involvement is extremely rare and most common site is vertebrae and usual presentation is monofocal.

CASE REPORT

We present 18-year-old male with bifocal osteomyelitis of scapula and tibia in immunocompetent male.

CONCLUSION

Cryptococcal osteomyelitis should be kept as a differential diagnosis in a patient as a primary diagnosis to avoid diagnostic delay and morbidity associated with it.

摘要

引言

通常影响肺部和中枢神经系统，多见于免疫功能低下的个体。骨骼受累极为罕见，最常见的部位是脊椎，通常表现为单病灶。

病例报告

我们报告一名18岁免疫功能正常的男性，患有肩胛骨和胫骨双病灶骨髓炎。

结论

隐球菌性骨髓炎应作为患者的鉴别诊断之一，以免延误诊断并避免与之相关的发病率。
