The objective of the present study was to determine the effect of some types of probiotics to minimize the hazard effect of cadmium on Oreochromis niloticus (O. niloticus) and to determine the influence of probiotics on the growth performance and immune status of O. niloticus.
Fish were divided into four groups, the first one was fed on a diet without any additives (control group), and the second group was fed on diet with the addition of 0.1 from (LC) of cadmium 32 ppm in water. The third group was fed on a diet containing 1 gm/kg of Lactobacillus acidophilus. The fourth group was fed on a diet containing 1 gm/kg of L. acidophilus with 0.1 addition from (LC) of cadmium 32 ppm.
The experiment lasted about 60 days which resulted in an improvement in growth performance, with a decrease in the number of micronucleus formation in the group which received the probiotic. The group which was affected with cadmium showed decrease in the growth performance with increase in the number of micronucleus formation while the group which received probiotics and treated with cadmium had significant improvement in growth performance and decreased in the number of micronucleus formation.
Probiotics decrease cadmium pollution.
本研究的目的是确定某些类型的益生菌对减轻镉对尼罗罗非鱼危害的影响,并确定益生菌对尼罗罗非鱼生长性能和免疫状态的影响。
将鱼分为四组,第一组喂食不含任何添加剂的饲料(对照组),第二组喂食添加了水中32 ppm镉的0.1(LC)的饲料。第三组喂食含有1克/千克嗜酸乳杆菌的饲料。第四组喂食含有1克/千克嗜酸乳杆菌且添加了水中32 ppm镉的0.1的饲料。
实验持续约60天,结果显示生长性能有所改善,接受益生菌的组中微核形成数量减少。受镉影响的组生长性能下降,微核形成数量增加,而接受益生菌并经镉处理的组生长性能有显著改善,微核形成数量减少。
益生菌可减少镉污染。
