Renal dysfunction, both acute and chronic, is a recognized association of hypothyroidism. We describe a patient who developed renal dysfunction at the stage of hypothyroidism. We emphasize that renal dysfunction is a reflection of tissue hypothyroidism, dissociated with the severity of biochemical hypothyroidism and can manifest in patients with subclinical hypothyroidism. This report also makes a case for thyroxine therapy if an alternative cause of renal dysfunction is not found in a patient with subclinical hypothyroidism.
急慢性肾功能不全均是公认的甲状腺功能减退症的相关病症。我们描述了一名在甲状腺功能减退阶段出现肾功能不全的患者。我们强调，肾功能不全是组织甲状腺功能减退的一种表现，与生化性甲状腺功能减退的严重程度无关，且可在亚临床甲状腺功能减退患者中出现。本报告还指出，如果在亚临床甲状腺功能减退患者中未发现肾功能不全的其他病因，则有必要进行甲状腺素治疗。
