Abstract

Technologies for reducing the concentration of CO in our atmosphere are essential for mitigating the risks of climate change, and novel chemistry is required for such technologies to work at scale. Here, we highlight challenges that chemists must overcome to realize the Holy Grail of an economically viable strategy for CO capture, utilization, and storage.
