The genus , belongs to Lamiaceae family, is one of the exclusive subspecies in the flora of Iran. The plants of this genus are used traditionally for treatment of joints pain, gout, jaundice, and as insecticide.
larvicidal activity of methanol 80% extract and partition fractions of hexane, chloroform, and ethyl acetate obtained from aerial parts of subspecies against malaria vector was evaluated. Phytochemical study of active fraction was analyzed using column chromatography and spectroscopy.
According to the results, among different fractions, hexane fraction has the most larvicidal activity with mortality rate of 100% in concentration of 102 ppm and LC of 95.66ppm. The structure of compound 1, main phytoecdysteroid compound separated from hexane fraction, was determined to be ajugalide-E.
The results suggested that the hexane fraction of subsp could be used as a natural and biodegradable insecticide.
该属植物属于唇形科,是伊朗植物区系中的特有亚种之一。该属植物传统上用于治疗关节疼痛、痛风、黄疸以及用作杀虫剂。
评估了从该亚种地上部分获得的80%甲醇提取物以及己烷、氯仿和乙酸乙酯的分配馏分对疟疾媒介的杀幼虫活性。使用柱色谱和光谱法对活性馏分进行了植物化学研究。
根据结果,在不同馏分中,己烷馏分具有最强的杀幼虫活性,在浓度为102 ppm时死亡率为100%,LC为95.66 ppm。从己烷馏分中分离出的主要植物蜕皮甾体化合物化合物1的结构被确定为筋骨草内酯-E。
结果表明该亚种的己烷馏分可作为天然且可生物降解的杀虫剂。
