Chyle fistula (CF) is a rare but challenging condition for the surgeon and the patient's health.
A retrospective review of single surgeon's case load in a 12-year period is presented, reviewing the case of those patients presenting with a CF.
Three patients were found during this study period from more than 1,050 surgeries performed due to thyroid cancer. Patients underwent extensive lymph node dissection for advanced, metastatic and infiltrative disease. In all patients, a long hospital stay and surgical re-interventions were required.
A description of the management of CF is presented along with a review of current Literature.
乳糜瘘（CF）是一种罕见但对外科医生和患者健康都具有挑战性的病症。
回顾性分析一位外科医生在12年期间的病例量，对出现CF的患者病例进行审查。
在本研究期间，从因甲状腺癌进行的1050多例手术中发现了3例患者。这些患者因晚期、转移性和浸润性疾病接受了广泛的淋巴结清扫术。所有患者都需要长时间住院和手术再次干预。
