Using the immunoperoxidase technique in conjunction with specific antisera to alpha-atrial natriuretic polypeptide (alpha-ANP), it was shown that immunoreactive cell bodies and varicose fibers are widely distributed throughout the rat brain. The highest concentrations of alpha-ANP-containing neuronal cell bodies and fibers were found in the hypothalamus and septum. This result confirms the radioimmunological determination of alpha-ANP immunoreactivity in the rat brain.
运用免疫过氧化物酶技术并结合针对α-心房利钠多肽（α-ANP）的特异性抗血清，结果显示，免疫反应性细胞体和曲张纤维广泛分布于大鼠脑内。含α-ANP的神经元细胞体和纤维浓度最高的部位是下丘脑和隔区。这一结果证实了大鼠脑内α-ANP免疫反应性的放射免疫测定结果。
